Tüyap’s Plast Eurasia arrives in Istanbul this December for its 35th edition. Machinery for plastics, raw materials and production technologies share the halls, as the organisers step up their recruitment of trade visitors in leading European markets ahead of opening day.
İstanbul – Plast Eurasia runs from 2-5 December 2026 at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center, Istanbul, organised by Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. in cooperation with PAGEV and under the auspices of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Trade. Manufacturers, technology suppliers, raw material producers, distributors and purchasing professionals will gather there to build commercial links spanning the whole plastics sector.
“For 35 years, Plast Eurasia supports the growth and development of the industry by bringing companies and professionals together and helping turn those connections into commercial relationships,” explained İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager at Tüyap Fairs Production Inc. “This year, we want to carry that experience forward by creating focused opportunities for buyers, suppliers and technology companies to meet around the needs of today’s plastics industry.”
European visitor recruitment picks up speed
Around 3 months ahead of opening, 90% of the exhibition space is already sold. Forecasts anticipate 80,000 attendees drawn from Türkiye and overseas, with the search for trade visitors targeting Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Belgium, Greece and Romania, as well as Middle Eastern and North African markets.
European professionals making the December trip will find machinery suppliers, materials firms and other plastics companies assembled under one Istanbul exhibition roof. Designed for overseas visitors, the programme seeks to generate new business contacts and to help companies strengthen the commercial relationships already in place.
Equipment, materials and process technologies on the bill
The show rests on two pillars: plastic production machinery, and raw materials and chemicals. The scope widens further to machinery solutions and the coming generation of production technologies, with efficiency, innovation and value-added output among the themes shaping the commercial agenda.
With the product range pitched so broadly, purchasers and technical teams can assess machines, materials and processes on a single trip, while exhibitors unveil new products, technologies and industry solutions for buyers arriving from numerous countries.
Anniversary programme traces 35 years of sector change
The 35th-anniversary content includes a Milestones Map, presenting in chronological order the turning points in the fair’s history alongside key developments in the plastics industry. A display of vintage plastics production machines will also show the way manufacturing technologies have evolved across the decades.
At the opening ceremony, plaques will be presented to Kontel Elektronik, Enformak Plastik Teknolojileri and Almak Ateş Makine, honouring three loyal companies that have exhibited throughout all 35 years of the fair.
The Stage is Yours! hands exhibitors 30-minute slots for presentations, letting them walk visitors through success stories, technologies, industry solutions and value-added products.
Escorted routes for hosted buyer groups
The Hosted Buyer Guided Tour programme directs overseas purchasing delegations more swiftly to the stands and product categories of relevance to them. Participating buyers receive escorted itineraries, stops at demonstration and event zones, access to the Hosted Buyer Lounge and tailored support services.
